Hanover Company, a Houston-based real estate developer, has obtained approvals from the City of Los Angeles to redevelop the site of three industrial building at 21050 Kittridge Street with a 394-unit apartment complex. The building would wrap around an eight-story parking structure, capable of accommodating up to 509 vehicles.
The design of the project, called Hanover Warner Center, is described as featuring three distinct languages that respond to its three street frontages - Kittridge, Variel Avenue, and Independence Avenue. Its northwest corner is considered an "activity node," marked by a public plaza, spilling into an amenity courtyard.
The approximately 380,000-square-foot project is expected to be completed in 2021, according to the TCA website.
The Real Deal recently reported that Hanover Company has secured $94 million in financing for the project.
Next door to Hanover Warner Center, construction is also underway for a similar six-story development which will feature 271 apartments.
