With move-ins expected in January 2019, developer Mack Urban has rolled out a leasing site with new renderings for its Aven apartment tower in Downtown Los Angeles.

Located at the northeast corner of 12th Street and Grand Avenue in South Park, the 37-story building will offer 536 residential units in addition to 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial uses and parking for 801 vehicles.

AC Martin designed the contemporary glass-and-steel tower, which features outdoor decks above its roof and its parking podium. Plans call for amenities including a fitness center, a half-court basketball court, a sand volleyball court, and a dog park.

Mack Urban, along with its partner AECOM Capital, is also building a half-acre pocket park at the foot of the tower.  The new green space is being designed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios.

Aven is the second component of a multi-phase project which encompasses five properties in South Park.  The first phase of the development - the WREN apartments - is already open one block south on Pico Boulevard.  Later phases of the project include a proposed hotel at 12th and Olive Streets, and 51- and 60-story towers on 11th Street.
